Kellogg Center - Replace Absorption Chilled Water System

The existing steam-absorption chiller serving the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center had reached the end of its useful life. In order to maintain hotel, conference and academic operations this chiller was replaced.
- Removed the existing steam-absorption chiller and replaced it with a modular electric chiller in the existing mechanical room.
- Removed both 700-ton steam-absorption plants that were in place, and replaced them with one 680-ton modular chiller.
Start of construction: November 2014
End of construction: April 2015
