MSU River Trail

Project phase: Archived

As part of the university’s ongoing efforts to improve non-motorized circulation, construction on the MSU River Trail (formerly known as the Red Cedar Greenway) from the Sparty statue intersection to Farm Lane has been completed. This was the third segment in a multi-segmented project.

The third segment of the MSU River Trail project enhanced the pedestrian/bicyclist river trail that runs along the south side of the Red Cedar River from the Spartan Statue on Chestnut Road to Farm Lane.

  • Construction for this project was completed August 2014.
