IPF employees install new campus art exhibit
IPF employees install one of the four canvases along the banks of the Red Cedar River
The Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum (Broad MSU) unveiled a series of outdoor, site specific installations of photographs by artist Gideon Mendel. The four canvases can be spotted along the banks of the Red Cedar River.
IPF employees Dennis Lehman, maintenance mechanic II, and Sheryl Shay, maintenance mechanic II, oversaw the installation of the four canvases along MSU’s illustrious river. The team completed the project in just one afternoon.
“The whole process went well,” Shay said. “I was very impressed with the way everything came out. People are going to enjoy this.”
The installation is an extension of Mendel’s exhibition Gideon Mendel: Drowning World, on display through Oct. 16 at the Broad MSU.
