IPF's carpentry shop and metal shop worked together to make tables for MSU's enhanced learning environments known as Rooms for Engaged and Active Learning (REAL) classrooms. REAL classrooms seamlessly intertwine technology into the learning environment to augment sharing and learning.

Nick Rowe, carpenter II and Don Meyers, metal worker mechanic II built and installed the tables. Both employees enjoyed working on the project.

“It made us all feel pretty good that we could combine our skills and do something better than a factory made product,” said Rowe.
