What is being done?

Temporary shutdown of HVAC 1

Why is this being done?

To repair the VFD(s), make wiring improvements, and the removal of old VFD cabinets to make room for future equipment.

How will this impact building occupants?

During this shutdown, fume hood exhaust will be affected. Please see fume hood special precaution notice below. Also, during this shutdown building ventilation will be affected. Building occupants may notice a change in building temperature. Rooms affected are as follows:

  • First Floor – 1500, 1500A, 1500B, 1500C, 1500D, 1500E, 1500F, 1500G, 1500H, 1530, 1531, 1540, 1540A, 1540B, 1540C, 1540D, 1540E
  • Second Floor – 2500, 2500A, 2505, 2505A, 2553, 2553A, 2555, 2555A, 2555B, 2555C, 2555D, 2560, 2560A, 2565, 2570, 2575, 2575A, 2577
  • Third Floor – 3540, 3545, 3546, 3546A-D, 3547, 3547A, 3548, 3548A-B, 3549, 3550, 3551, 3552, 3553, 3554, 3556, 3557, 3558, 3559, 3560, 3560A, 3562, 3563, 3564, 3565, 3566, 3567, 3568, 3569, 3570, 3570A, 3570B, 3570C, 3571, 3572, 3573, 3574, 3575, 3576, 3577, 3578, 3578A-B, 3579, 3580, 3581, 3582

Please cover/contain all hazardous materials within the fume hoods and close all fume hood sashes during this shutdown
