Facility asset mapping/inspection

What is being done?

Infrastructure Planning and Facilities staff will barcode assets throughout the facility. This is part of a larger effort to collect additional data for maintenance and capital planning purposes for Infrastructure Planning and Facilities. IPF assets are being located, mapped, and photographed for the Asset Data Collection Initiative. 

How will this impact building occupants?

Staff will be seen walking within the building and outside of the facility from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., daily placing asset barcodes. Minimal disruption, brief room access may be needed for offices, class rooms, and community spaces as well as in mechanical rooms.
