Packaging Building: Addition 3 and Renovations
Overview of scope:
The new addition and renovations will allow the School of Packaging to increase capacity and quality of space for research, appropriate for the top-ranked program and supportive of developments in technologies and pedagogies in research, teaching and learning. The project will include lab space critical for meeting the needs of growing grant0funded research and the demand for industry collaboration.

Schedule
- June 2025: Program has been confirmed; schematic design has been completed, design development has started.
- December 2025: Project fundraising is in progress. Redesign of contract documents are underway with target budget including a single story addition rather than two story. Revised construction documents will be complete in December with Board of Trustees authorization to proceed tracking for April 2026. Construction schedule will be May 2026 through August 2027.
