We keep detailed record of MSU campus facility information. Our Facilities Information Tool, allows you to access facility and infrastructure related information, including building names and numbers, maintained by the university.

Building Hours

MSU East Lansing Campus: Standard Building Hours

The times buildings are open to the public or accessible to people with a Spartan ID card are set by the MSU Department of Police and Public Safety. Events in MSU buildings may occur outside of standard hours.

If you're planning an event that will occur outside of standard building hours, you must submit an IPF campus events request. If your student group is trying to schedule an event, please contact the Office of Student Experience team and request a classroom.

If you notice a door damaged or ajar outside of business hours, please contact the MSU Department of Police and Public Safety.

Building Contacts

We rely on designated building contacts to help us share important information about work being done on campus. We ask them to share news and alerts broadly with their department and colleagues about potential impacts to their area. Departments can have multiple contacts per building and as many locations as needed. Building contacts are invaluable partners and we greatly appreciate them.
