Water Conversion

steam from power plant

Water is converted to steam and used to make electricity and for heating, air conditioning, and other building functions. After the steam has served its purposes, it is condensed into liquid form, sent back to the power plant, turned back into steam and the cycle continues. About 90 percent of the steam sent out to campus is returned as condensate.
