Sunset Solstice Stroll

June 20, 2025, 6:30-8:30 PM

Celebrate the arrival of summer with an enchanting evening at Hidden Lake Gardens. This event, which opens at 6:30 in the evening, is free and open to the public. Enjoy a peaceful twilight stroll through the gardens, explore the Conservatory, and experience the Sky Walk as day turns to dusk. Last admission is at 8:00 p.m. 

In partnership with the Lenawee County Department on Aging, the Alzheimer’s Association, and Dementia Friendly Services, Hidden Lake Gardens will also be hosting programming focused on dementia awareness and caregiver support. These events are free and open to the public, but an RSVP is appreciated for planning purposes here or by calling 517-431-2060 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. RSVP is not necessary for visitors only attending the stroll. Reverse valet parking will be available to assist caregivers in dropping off their family members to a supervised area of the Visitors Center.

7-8 PM Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body

This caregiver-focused presentation will offer practical tips and resources for supporting cognitive health and reducing caregiver stress. Presented by Melissa Salas, Program Management at the Alzheimer's Association.

Additional information regarding resources for caregivers and reducing caregiver stress will be provided.

7-8 PM Simultaneous Activity: Nature Based Programming

Luminaries for a Cause

Luminaries will be available for donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in the gallery on the upper level of the Visitors Center and may be placed along designated walkways as a tribute or symbol of hope.
