What is being done?

Temporary shutdown of AHU-7 and AHU-8

Why is this being done?

Vibration analysis testing; yearly preventative maintenance

How will this impact building occupants?

During the shutdown, fume hood exhaust will be affected. Please see fume hood special precautions below. Also, during this shutdown building ventilation will be affected. Building occupants in the east wing, basement, first and second floors may notice a change in temperature. See maps below.

Special precautions that need to be taken:

  • Please cover/contain all hazardous materials within the fume hoods and close all fume hood sashes during this shutdown.
