Crane lift

What is being done?

Closure of Science Drive south of S. Shaw Ln. to set up a crane to install a new exhaust fan and other mechanical equipment on the Chemistry Building roof. 

How will this impact building occupants?

Science Drive will be closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 26 and 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 27 south of S. Shaw Ln. Science Drive will be open from 6 p.m. on Dec. 26 to 6 a.m. on Dec. 27. Sidewalks will remain open unless the crane has to swing over the area at that time. A flagman will be present. In an emergency we can allow vehicles to pass on Science Drive. 

The crane will be parked in the ADA spots on Tuesday morning, Dec. 26 at 6 am.
