What is being done?

Upgrading the electrical substation because the old substation is dilapidated and needs to be replaced. During this timeframe, work will take place daily from 5:00am until 7:00am. 

How will this impact building occupants?

Tuesday, July 28: HVAC systems will be down. 480v motor loads will be affected.

Wednesday, July 29: All 120v circuits and lighting circuits will be interrupted.

Thursday, July 30: Emergency lights and outlets will lose power. This will also affect the equipment connected to the emergency power.

Special Precautions: On Wednesday, July 29 and Thursday, July 30, it is recommended that facility occupants power down computers and sensitive laboratory equipment.
