Construction notice
Demolition of the I.M. West outdoor swimming pool. The site will be turned into green space.
The pool was closed indefinitely in fall 2018 because it was leaking and had deteriorating infrastructure making it unsafe to use. Because the pool will not be reopened, it is a safety hazard that needs to be removed.
There will be an increase in construction vehicle traffic entering and exiting the construction site. General noise and dust typical of a construction project of this size should be expected.
Please obey all construction site signage and fencing. Be extra aware of construction vehicles entering and exiting the site. Your cooperation during this time is appreciated.
