HVAC maintenance

What is being done?

Shutdown of Exhaust Fans 1, 2 & 3. Exhaust fans 7, 8 & 9 will be operating at reduced capacity. HVAC unit #1 serving the west end of the building will also be shut down. Please see maps below for details.

Why is this being done?

Perform duct work inspections.

How will this impact building occupants?

During this shutdown, fume hoods in affected areas will not be operational. Affected areas will be under negative pressure. Room temperatures could increase slightly. The following rooms will be affected:

Special precautions that need to be taken:

  • Please cover/contain all hazardous materials within the fume hoods and close all fume hood sashes during this shutdown
