Graduate student inspects cow remains

August 14, 2018

Cow remains, likely more than 100 years old, were recently unearthed during construction on the Wilson Road extension project.

Campus Archaeologist Autumn Painter and her students seized the opportunity to collect, identify and catalog the dozens of bones found at the site.

IPF also connected the MSU Campus Archaeology Program with additional artifacts that were discovered during renovations to Cook Hall.
