Gazebo Garden

The Gazebo Garden is a source of pleasure, inspiration and education for the visiting public.  Through the assistance of both staff and volunteers, the display is fresh and new each year.

Originally established as the All-American Demonstration Garden in 1963-64, this vibrant space showcased top-performing annual flowers selected by a global committee of seed companies. Over the years, it featured ever-changing displays of flowers, including more than 150 varieties of petunias and 60 varieties of marigolds in a single season. Though it no longer serves as an official evaluation site, the garden continues to flourish as a beautiful display area.

In the early 2000s, a charming gazebo was added, funded by an anonymous donor’s estate. A brick path through the gazebo allows visitors to commemorate loved ones, milestones, and special moments with engraved bricks. Today, the Gazebo Garden remains a place of beauty, reflection, and celebration for all who visit.
