Visitors Center & Daffodil Gift Shop

The Visitors Center at Hidden Lake Gardens is currently under renovation. Updates already completed include a new water bottle filling station beneath the stairs in the lower level and new fixtures in the restrooms.

Perched on a hillside overlooking the serene Hidden Lake, the Visitors Center has been a cherished gathering place since its completion in 1966. Funded by a generous $250,000 donation from the Herrick Foundation, the center was designed to provide administrative offices and a welcoming space for gardening groups and visitors.

Its thoughtful placement, adjusted during construction to maximize views of the lake, has made it a destination for inspiration, reflection, and connection. Generations of visitors have enjoyed its peaceful setting—artists and authors have found creative inspiration, families have shared storytime by the windows, and those seeking solace have found comfort in its tranquil atmosphere. Whether for quiet contemplation, reconnecting with friends, or simply enjoying the breathtaking scenery, the Visitors Center continues to be a beloved retreat within Hidden Lake Gardens.

The Daffodil Gift Shop at Hidden Lake Gardens is located in the lower level of our Visitors Center and offers a wide variety of unique, garden-inspired merchandise, including many local vendors.
