Why is this being done?

Fire pump testing and certification across campus.

How will this impact building occupants?

Pump testing will take place throughout campus during the week of March 2, 2026. During this work and for up to a couple of days after, some discoloration of the water supply may occur throughout campus. This discoloration is harmless in terms of sanitation and safety, but may discolor clothing if used for laundry.

Special precautions that need to be taken: The temporary discoloration of the water may discolor clothing if used for laundry.
