Facility asset mapping/inspection

What is being done?

Infrastructure Planning and Facilities staff will perform a visual walkthrough of the building documenting mechanical, structural and electrical facility assets. This will occur from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., daily, beginning Tuesday, January 5, and lasting through Thursday, January 21.
Staff will return at a later date to barcode the assets.   

Why is this being done?

This is part of a larger effort to collect additional data for maintenance and capital planning purposes for Infrastructure Planning and Facilities.

How will this impact building occupants?

Staff will be walking within and outside of the facility. Brief room access will be needed. Asset Mapping Coordinators will coordinate access to sensitive areas with the building manager. Please inform all building occupants.
