What is being done?
Temporary electrical power outage to the entire facility.
Why is this being done?
To perform necessary maintenance on the main transformer feeding the Museum to prevent future damage.
How will this impact building occupants?
During this shutdown, there will be no electrical service to the entire facility. This shutdown will affect lighting, elevator service, and fire alarms. This shutdown will last approximately 4 hours.
Special precautions that need to be taken: It is recommended that facility occupants power down computers and sensitive laboratory equipment.
