Utility work

What is being done?

Infrastructure Planning and Facilities High Voltage Crew will be working on circuits H25/H45. No power interruption is expected. This work is necessary to install/energize a new temporary primary switch that will supply power to the Vet Med Complex over the next few months, while the electrical substation is upgraded with new equipment.

Buildings impacted: Farm Lane Feeder, IPF Storage Bldgs. 209 & 210, Pathological Incinerator, Radio Equipment Tower, Turfgrass Field Lab., Well No. 17, Well No. 18, Well No. 19, Dairy Complex, Digestor Complex, Surplus & Recycling, Pump Station No. 1, Pump Station No. 2, Reg. Chilled Water Plant, Transportation Services-Fueling Station and Car Wash, Veterinary Medical Center, and Veterinary Medical Oncology.

How will this impact building occupants?

While we do not expect any interruptions in electrical service, the buildings listed at the top of the page will be served by their alternate circuit while this work takes place.
