What is being done?

Replacing transformer at the end of life that serves emergency loads.

How will this impact building occupants?

There will be no electrical service to the impacted areas. The elevators and fire alarms will also be impacted during this time.

Areas Affected: Rooms 52, 54, 56, 128, 130, 134, 140A - G, 142, 147, 150A-J, 153, 170A, 172A, 176, 194, 196D, 208, 214, 222, 222A, 226A 236, 234A, 238F-G, 244A-C, 252, 253 270, 272A, 274, 292E, 196A-1 (Cooler-Necropsy),142A-2 (Cooler-Cooler Bacti), 142D-2 (Cooler), 142D-1 (Cooler), 142A-1 (incubator), 182B-1 (Cooler-Necropsy), 194 (pass through fridge), 237 (walk in freezer), 280, 278, 292, 280, 224, 234A, 292, BSL3 Trailers, Fire Alarm and elevators.

Precautions Advised: It is recommended that facility occupants power down computers and sensitive laboratory equipment.
