IPF maintenance and construction notices

Shutdown of steam and condensate to the building. Shutdown of these services are required for removal and reconfiguration of the steam and condensate piping for the building addition.

Single lane closures on northbound Farm Lane and westbound Wilson Road. One lane will remain open.

Removal of 12 existing tennis courts, removal of existing storage/restroom building, and construction of new team building and 6 post tensioned tennis courts. There will be detours around site, and tennis courts will not be available for use until August 2025.

Demolition of Central Services building to improve campus and reduce maintenance costs.

Roads and intersections along Red Cedar Road have been under construction over the summer to install new infrastructure lines for power, water, and IT service. Great progress has been made and we have opened the roadways in multiple locations.

At Wilson Road between Farm Lane Road and Bogue Street, traffic will be shifted to one side of the divided roadway to allow infrastructure lines for drinking water, chilled water, plumbing, electrical and technology to be run from the combined heat and power west regional chilled water plant to the new Plant and Environmental Sciences Building.

Emergency shutdown/reduction of chilled water. The chilled water main is leaking and needs to be repaired. This will impact Bio Chemistry, Business College, Food Safety & Toxicology, IM East, Law College, Molecular Plant Science Addition, Plant and Soil Science, Plant Biology, Center for Integrative Plant Systems (CIPS), Veterinary Medical Clinic, Vet Med Pegasus, Vet Med Oncology Addition, and Wharton Center. NOTE: Building temperatures will be warmer than normal due to increase outdoor temperatures and inability to cool building interiors.
